Outpatient therapist by day, blogger by night. Married to Mike, living in Grand Rapids, MI and learning how to co-exist with our oddly human like Labradoodle Quinn. In recovery from an awful eating disorder (finally) after 3 long term relationships with treatment/rehab.
I’ve realized I am by no means the only person being tormented by a bagel, a muffin, mayonnaise, peanut butter, cereal, or any other food for that matter. This blog is a space for frustrations, ramblings, lessons learned, and most importantly community.
The years I spent in my eating disorder were hands down the most isolative and difficult years of my life, and I’m so unbelievably over it. We might as well heal and grow together. This blog exists to remind you that your story matters and you matter. After all, we heal in community, not in isolation.
